CJH Outdoor Chef’s Knife Walnut Wood, Satin is a design that brings the functionality of kitchen knives into the world of folders. 1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) – molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 57-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.
Blade – the first with a drop point profile was designed with kitchen work in mind. The slightly drooping ridge and pronounced tip make it easy to cut and portion with precision, while the edge line promotes smooth guidance of the blade along the board. The flat grind gives the blade a thin, utilitarian geometry that reduces resistance when slicing. The second Blade includes a vegetable peeler and a ball for cleaning fish from scales.
