The Medford USMC Fighter Flipper Black DLC Titanium, Black DLC HW/Clip, Black DLC is a large men’s folding knife that’s as comfortable on the job as it is in your pocket when you’re walking around town. CPM S90V – corrosion-resistant, top-quality, mechanical stress-resistant, advanced American powder steel with a hardness of 56-59 HRC. High vanadium content promotes the formation of hard vanadium carbides instead of chromium carbides, which increases the steel’s wear / abrasion resistance and the presence of free chromium provides excellent corrosion resistance. DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) durability of the blade’s surface is enhanced with a matte black nanocomposite coating, which exhibits unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection.
