AISI 420(AmericanIron andSteelInstitute) rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12% chromium, a martensitic stainless steel that offers high hardenability (in the 54-56 HRC range) and strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools and knife blades.
Blade – Bolo profile, 3.2 mm thick, coated with a matte, non-reflective finish for corrosion protection. Made of durable AISI 420 stainless steel, resistant to chipping and cracking, hardened to 54–56 HRC. The plain edge is ground with a hollow grind to ensure excellent cutting performance.
Handle – Textured grips ending in a guard to protect the hand during use. Made of synthetic rubber, providing a secure hold even with wet hands. The rear of the handle features a hole for attaching a lanyard.
Sheath – Made of black ballistic nylon, secured with a snap closure.
