GAVILAN – this is universal knife with a constant blade and full tang construction, made of MoVa molybdenum-vanadium steel. This is a great quality tool that will work in a wide range of applications, during hunting, survival expeditions, while camping. Massive, durable, it can endure any work in even the most demanding conditions.
Steel was subjected to cryogenic treatment (heat treatment at minus temperatures), called „CRYO-T”, also called freezing. Thanks to CRYO-T, we obtain a homogeneous internal steel structure, which translates into a significant increase in blade strength, increasing resistance to impact, stress and torsion.
Blade – about Drop Point profile and 4.5 mm thickness coated with non-reflective, Satin Finish coating (semi-matt). Made of hardened 57-58 HRC, durable molybdenum vanadium stainless steel X50CrMoV15. The blade has good mechanical properties and a long focus. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with flat cut (Flat Grind).
Handle – covered with claddings made of knurled (engraved) beech wood for a comfortable and secure grip. The covers were fastened with rivets made of polished brass.
Case – extended, protecting the blade with part of the handle. Made of brown leather with embossed company logo. Sheath was sewn at the edges with a decorative thread. Fastening to a belt or attachment allows you to carry the knife in vertical position.
