CJH Heavy Dark Wood, Black – a professional machete from the German brand Herbertz CJH, designed for heavy-duty and prolonged outdoor work. Thanks to its solid construction and strong blade, it is perfect for clearing brush, preparing firewood, camp tasks, or everyday use.
AISI 420(AmericanIron andSteelInstitute) rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12% chromium, a martensitic stainless steel that offers high hardenability (in the 54-56 HRC range) and strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools and knife blades.
Blade – a wide Drop Point blade, finished with an anti-reflective Black Coating that enhances durability and protects against corrosion. The plain cutting edge delivers exceptional cutting performance with full force, while power transferred to the tip ensures excellent point strength. Thanks to its solid construction and well-designed blade profile, the machete performs reliably even in the toughest outdoor conditions.
Handle – contoured wooden scales attached directly to the tang with rivets. The simple, ergonomic shape provides a secure and comfortable grip. The symmetrical design of the handle allows the knife to be held in either direction, ideal for users who prefer a reverse grip.
Sheath – secured with a reliable snap, ensuring safe and convenient storage of the machete. The shaped design protects the blade from damage and allows easy carrying, for example on a belt or in outdoor gear.
