SG-12 is a versatile fixed-blade knife from the Spanish Muela workshop. Designed to be a lightweight, portable tool for outdoor tasks, this universal outdoor knife is ideal for survival enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, hunters, and scouts.
Puukko- an essential piece of gear for any scout, equally favored by outdoor enthusiasts. It features a sturdy blade approximately 100-130 mm in length and a handle made from either synthetic material or wood, typically finished with a guard for added safety.
420H- a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of0.17%to0.23%,also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo) offers high hardenability in the54-58 HRCrange, as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade – featuring a Trailing Point profile with a non-reflective Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating to minimize glare. The plain-edge blade, crafted with a hollow grind, offers excellent cutting performance. A single-sided steel guard protects the hand from slipping onto the blade, while the Finger Choil—a contoured notch for the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge-ensures safe operation and enhanced control over the knife.
Handle – ergonomically contoured with textured grooves for a secure grip during various tasks. Made from soft polymer, it fits comfortably in the hand, providing a non-slip surface for easy handling in all weather and temperature conditions.
Sheath- hand-stitched, made of top qualitybrowncowhidewith embossed manufacturer’s logo. The edges of the case are stitched with decorative thread. Fastened with aPrymtype snap.The belt attachment allows the knife to be carried inan uprightposition.
