AISI 420(AmericanIron andSteelInstitute) rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12% chromium, a martensitic stainless steel that offers high hardenability (in the 54-56 HRC range) and strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools and knife blades.
Blade – Satin-finished Drop Point with a wavy Recurve edge providing above-average cutting performance. The plain edge with a pronounced belly is ground with a Hollow Grind, ensuring excellent edge geometry and extreme cutting efficiency. At the base of the blade, there is a single-sided steel guard protecting the hand from slipping during use.
Handle – Ergonomically shaped for a secure grip. Covered with selected Vine wood scales, distinguished by their beautiful color and interesting grain pattern. The knife fits very well in the hand, is non-slip, and can be easily handled in any conditions. The bolster and pins are made of textured stainless steel. The rear part of the handle features a lanyard hole for attaching a safety cord.
Sheath – Brown leather sheath with a Prym snap closure. Belt or gear attachment allows the knife to be carried in a vertical position.
