BD4 Contractor Black, universal, lightweight 137 g and easy to carry are the features of Extrema Ratio folding knives from Basic Folder series. Full-size folding knife with a double-sided blade with an elegant, functional shape referring to the classic Italian style.

Perfectly balanced – easy to carry -will overcome any obstacle. A typical professional’s tool.

Blade – slim and extremely sharp, 3 mm thickness with Dagger profile with a double-edged symmetrical blade. Blade sides equipped with a short saw for aggressive cutting. The blade is made of well-sharpening, produced in the Austrian steel mill Böhler-Uddeholm, durable, high-cobalt stainless steel N690 with a hardness of 58 HRC. Covered with a matt non-reflective coating MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING. The double-sided smooth blade (Plain type) was made with flat cut (Flat Grind) which provides strength, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting and penetration performance. Robust blade blockade: Liner-Lock type mechanism.

Handle – linings grip made of anodized aluminum ensure lightness and structural strength. Open construction, called „open-backed” simplifies cleaning and maintenance. The solid left / right-hand side layered metal bridge-shaped clip allows you to carry the knife deep in your pocket (discreetly) in the tip-up position. The clip also provides a comfortable thumb support, especially for users who value an inverted grip.
