CJH Blue Micarta, Satin is designed in the spirit of contemporary EDC – without excess detail, with a focus on ergonomics and real durability. This model combines a classic blade line with materials that stand up well to daily use. This is a folder designed for work: in the city, in the workshop, in the field. The blade with drop point profile and flat grind provides clear control of the cutting path and versatile nature of work. D2 tool steel, known for its resistance to wear and long-lasting sharpness, adds a utilitarian dimension to the design. A satin surface finish introduces a subdued technical aesthetic without an aggressive visual effect. The Micarta composite Handle is an element that makes a real difference in comfort. The material responds to pressure and hand temperature, offering a natural grip without harsh texture. The whole is based on steel liners, and the Axis Lock is responsible for quick, symmetrical locking of the blade. This is a well-thought-out EDC folding knife, in which every element has a function, and the form remains subordinate to utility.
D2 – a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high wear resistance due to the high content of carbides in the microstructure.
Blade – with drop point profile is designed as a versatile tool for everyday tasks. The pronounced tip allows accurate handling, while the slightly lowered back promotes control for cuts requiring precision. The flat grind gives the blade an even, utilitarian geometry. The blade is not exaggerated – it retains structural stability while maintaining good cutting efficiency. A satin finish accentuates the line of the blade and makes it easier to maintain aesthetics with regular use. D2 steel offers high abrasion resistance and solid sharpness retention, making it a suitable choice for a folder designed for work. The Axis Lock stabilizes the blade in the open position and allows comfortable operation with both right and left hands.
Handlegrips – Micarta composite grips are distinguished by their textile texture and natural matte finish. The material provides a stable grip without the need for aggressive milling or sharp edges. The body of the Handle is simple, but ergonomically balanced – the subtle profiling allows for a secure grip in both a working grip and a more precise one. Steel liners reinforce the design, giving it the necessary rigidity. An integrated deep-carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket, and a lanyard hole enhances the safety of use in the field.
