5161 outdoor knife with a constant blade of the Spanish Muela Company. For trips outside the city, for camping, it will also work as a survival hunting knife. A solid blade will withstand all work in all conditions.
420H- a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of0.17%to0.23%,also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo) offers high hardenability in the54-58 HRCrange, as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade – about Bowie profile, 3.5 mm thickness, coated with a non-reflective Satin Finish (semi-matt) coating that eliminates reflections.A smooth blade (Plain type) was made with concave cut (Hollow Grind), provides good cutting properties. On the back of the blade was placed universal saw suitable for cutting, among others wood, ropes, belts.
Handle – knurled ABS material claddings in dark green color finish with a black head. The knife fits well in the hand, does not slip, it can be easily operated in all conditions.
Sheath – in black color, made of plastic material. Fastened with a latch enables safe carrying of the knife. The edges of the sheath were sewn with decorative thread. The producer’s logo is embossed on the front. The sheath has a belt attachment or attachment enabling it to be carried in a vertical position. In the lower part was placed a gap for attaching the knife to the thigh with a rope.
