Bean Gen2 Zebra Wood, a compact folder by E.D.C., design by Serge Panchenko. The Ukrainian knifemaker’s design combines hard to beat value for money and functionality. Equipped with Slip-Joint mechanism legal in most countries.
SlipJoint – nonlocking ball detent mechanism used in folders. Force is required to fold the knife. SlipJoint holds the blade in both folded and unfolded position.
Sheepsfoot profile with refined stone washed finish. Made of tough 440C stainless steel with good sharpness retention, hardened to 56-59 HRC. Plain, smooth blade is Flat Grind for superior geometry and strength. Oval cutout for opening the blade.
Handle – asymmetrical: made of stainless steel, which is the base of the non locking mechanism and hard exotic African Zebrawood (Zingana) with beautiful texture. Open-backed design for easy cleaning and maintenance. A cutout in one of the liners provides easy right hand access to the oval opening to open the blade. The right-side clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position.
