BEAR-24S elaborately made, unique knife with a fixed blade type REMATE from the Spanish Company Muela. High quality of used materials, careful finishing of details – perfect for collectors, lovers of hunting, people who value active lifestyle.
REMATE – in the hunting tradition of Spain, Portugal and southern France, a knife that hunters hunted with wild dogs. REMATE in literal translation means „finish / finish”. The word specifies all knives with a double blade, whose blade length exceeds 17 cm – in France they are also knives with a bayonet type blade.
X50CrMoV15(1.4116) -molybdenum-vanadiumhigh-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of56-58 HRC.The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of15.0%chromium (Cr),0.80%molybdenum (Mo),0.20%vanadium (V).
Blade – sharp on both sides with Spear Point type and 4.5 mm thickness with good mechanical properties and long-lasting sharpness.Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with concave cut (Hollow Grind). The Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glare.
Handle – covered with a natural deer stag with a crown with a medallion engraved with a hunting theme.
Sheath – natural brown leather with embossed manufacturer’s logo. The sheath was sewn on the edges with a decorative thread. Fastening to a belt or gear allows you to carry the knife in a vertical position.
